Design Components

This post was written on November 15, 2011, and is a reply to Mr. Bertram's post on his VCI Science Blog.

I feel that for my mousetrap vehicle, the design component that is going to be the most critical to enhance the vehicle's performance is going to be the vehicle's chassis. I feel that the chassis plays a huge role in the distance of the vehicle because the heavier the chassis, the more pressure there is being exerted on the wheels downward, causing it to not go as far. I will hope to find a strong and durable, yet light chassis for my mousetrap vehicle.
